Avoiding annoying vortex pulls

Hi,

After spending an eternity as a leecher, I finally have something that I think is worth sharing here. It's not so much an exploit as it is a "clever use of game mechanics" I'd say, but in much the same way many players notice very late that elective mode actually exists, I think this is something that is good to know for everyone :


You can avoid being pulled by mobs with the Vortex ability simply by standing behind an (unbreakable) object, or around any corner. You will see the effect and be drawn towards the object (or wall or whatever), but stopped by it. This is actually very useful when you get the bad combos (with Molten, Plagued, even Arcane and the like).



I didn't see this mentioned anywhere else, and it is pretty basic, but hey if it helps even one player...

Should I just repost it there then ? I don't see any option to move or delete a thread. Also, I thought this was almost an exploit, and more of a little trick than a real "guide", which is why I posted here and not there.

I think it's working as designed, so I'd say it definitely would be better in the guide section. But this was a good tip regardless of where you posted lol.
