Depends on the class. There's tons of lists of BIS (best in socket) for classes in the bnet forums.

I'm interested in mostly items that sell for high amounts in the AH, BIS would most likely fit this. I'd love to see Demon Hunter items to see what I should aim for.

But there are stats that are better then others, such as dex, crit dmg etc. I'm thinking of compiling a list of the highest numbers, I just havent gone around to gather info about it yet.

I have a 1500 DPS sword with crit hit and str.

I also have 2x 1100 dps 120+ crit hit 1h xbows, but they're currently in use, even though, for the right price, they could go =)
