[Question] does anyone know how to bypass graphic checks?

The title says it all really, as it turns out my laptop ha dedicated graphics, 8gb ram, and a good enough processor to run D3...

However my graphics are apparently unsupported(according to the launcher) when I check the website my graphic card is not on the list had has more than enough power to run on recommended settings!

Does anyone know how I can bypass this stupid check?

it worked with the beta version. with the full version - I do not know

Override by setting HardwareClass to "4" in Documents\Diablo III\3dprefs.txt. This will override the check and force texture loading - quality will vary, of course.

This file doesn't exist until you have launched the game However I found if you press ESC on your keyboard instead of the OKAY message it launches fine.

Even after the file has been generated, changing HardwareClass to 4 has no difference.

"You can try this:
Find a filename (in your D3 directory or your Documents/Diablo III) named D3Prefs.txt.

Open it and change:
HardwareClass "0" to HardwareClass "1"
DisableTrilinearFiltering "0" to DisableTrilinearFiltering "1"

You should be able to start the game... at least till the login screen.
Can't pass it to tell if the game will actually work.

Yea, I'm from EU and went to sleep - piece of advice, do the same. Error 37 will greet you all :P.
This thing might let you play on a crappy gp unit. I'm playing on a 7y old Radeon Mobility x1600. In 800x600, where you can't even read the text font, but hey, the game is awesome.

So it's the launcher that's complaining? Try running 'Diablo III.exe' directly with the '-launch' argument and see if that works.

I can play fine at 100fps if I bypass the check
