We all should look out, cause there is a phishing email going arround (probably much more than one), Blizzard posted info about it, even in WoW Logging screen, as Breaking News!

We’re gearing up for the forthcoming launch of Diablo III and would like to extend you an invitation to participate in the beta test. If you are interested in participating, you need to have a Battle.net account, which you can create on our Battle.net website.

So remember: Don't ever send your password to anyone, blizzard will never ask you about your password!
And don't click on any links, instead just visit your blizzard account page (if you'll get beta invitation, you'll see Diablo III beta account as one of your blizzard games).
