As the topic says: What class will you play as when you first enter D3 ?

What classes do you think there will be?


(Personally i'm definetely going to roll a Barbarian, that giant mace he's wielding in the gameplay video is just amazing!

Necromancer, thats what I always played as on D2, loved summoning my skeletons and golems <3

They won't have a necromancer, instead of a necro they will have witch doctor.

And I, the PvP beast, will be looking forward to owning people with paladins, but I might create a MF sorceress first, to get me my gear for the paladin to own with ^^, will depend on the system of the drops, if they will still use magic find, I will see which character is best farmer with worst gear (most likely sorceress,) and pick that, but I'm expecting them to add a spell damage thing onto gear, so it will be harder to magic find than it is in Diablo II.

your are correct, but thats not what he said. necros have been replaced with witch doctors. what he is trying to say is... there will be no necros in D3.

Witch Doctors have similiar game mechanics as the Necromancer, but they will never be the same. I'm sure Witch Doctors will be fun to play, but I really loved my 11k Poison Necro >_>

Assuming they introduce Paladins once again (Which they better >:0) I will be rolling one of them. I loved playing Smiter Pally's in D2. xD

I'll probably roll a Wizard (Sorceress Replacement?) And maybe a Barb merely since the gameplay vids really look nice.

I haven't decided, but I well do what I have done in everyother game I have played, just pick one at random, then reroll... and reroll... and reroll untill I love one.. thats what i did in wow, I rolled a shaman which went well but at 40 got bored, then rerolled druid to 70, then I was like I want to level again and rerolled a maeg that is now 80 and love it..

You well find the best class that you truely like, but not when you first play the game.

Barbarian will be the only class in diablo 3 that has been in the series befor, blizzard has confirmed that.
I would go for both Barbarian & Wizzard since Barbarian is Tank/DPS and Wizzard is a Mage.

Barbarian!!! Actually this is the only class i'll play with...well if it the game is cool then maybe i'll try the other classes also.
