Guys, this has nothing to do with the Gem of Ease. It's exps bonus is additive after all the exps multipliers, as many stated, hence its effect becomes negligible very quickly. What is being describing here is a classic power levelling technique, used from early D3 ages:
1. Boosting (or boosted) char creates a T6 game (max. torment accessible to level 1 char)
2. Boosting char runs the T6 Nephalem rift, boosted char NEEDS to be present on every map to get the exps, does not need to follow though. Any distance works. I typically used the map starting position cleared by the boosting char. Once the map changes, lev 70 clears the start of the new map and lets the boosted char to teleport to him/her. It takes around 3 Nephalem rifts power level from 1 to 70, so about 5-10 minutes.
3. It definitely does not work with boosted char sitting in the town. Only event exps (bounties, special events) are world-shared. Kill exps are map-shared.
