If you cannot understand german, this is the essence of the exploit:

1) You cast Sweeping wind wearing your hardest hitting items with as low attack speed as possible.

2) You then swap out to items with as high attack speed as possible.

The result is ridiculous Sweeping Wind DPS that uses DPS of Gear set #1 that is increased by Gear set #2's attack speed.

It is not unrealistic to see sweeping wind do THREE TIMES MORE DPS with this.

Nice, I had seen this months ago with someone putting a 1h with garbage stats but super high DPS and turning on SW followed but switching back to main weapons. I will have to try this with maybe a 2H with max base dmg and try it out.

I get around 140k DPS with buffs. I pop breath of heaven, then blinding flash, then sweeping wind right after. I switch to MF gear with 34k sheet DPS before the sweeping wind timer runs out.
I still don't do 140k with this exploit. What am I doing wrong?

This isn't an exploit, this is the simple mechanic of sweeping wind. It snapshots the current stats and is holding them on.
Sure it's pritty useful, but it's more like a guide, not an exploit.

Its good that you've used the terms snapshot and sweeping wind together, because thats the heart of the exploit. Its NOT a snapshot as it gets dynamically affected by the difference in your attack speed after the cast.

Is this still working for 1.06? Also once this trick is working, other than refreshing and keeping sweeping wind alive, is it neccessary to keep the other skills active, like recasting blinding flash or breath of heaven or swapping between generators to keep the damage up?

still working. all you do is keep sweeping wind up, any buffs you apply after wont affect its damage

don't know what i am doing wrong, but i have 2.5k loh, 3% los, and i am still dying, using this trick on mp10. AR is at 650 with 45k HP.

second that sir, we monks are like the martial artist with lots of weapon to swap depending on situations..its just a simple mechanic of sweepin winds.
too bad d3 went back abit primitive, when was the last time u guys played such a game with no weapon swapping buttons around ? just by not putting a weapon swapping button..
blizz has made the game overly reliant on gears rather than skills . ^^ cheers
