As for Blizzards silence and the way things are going. This is almost exactly what happened with iD's last Wolfenstein(2009). They released it, pushed out a patch or two. There were still broken mechanics and multiplayer never got fixed. They had a single CM that posted to some of peoples questions. He kept promising that things would be fixed. Then, after a couple months, he just stopped responding. Eventually the game just died because they stopped supporting it. No new patches. It's almost surreal how similar D3 is following a similar series of events.

in the battlenet bug report forums where it was originally posted a blue has closed the topics and responded saying they are addressing it, so it will probably be fixed soon

Yeah but I'm not talking strictly about the wiz bug. I'm talking about all the bugs/problems/exploits/mechanics/legendaries/pvp. It's been what, 4 weeks since any meaningful patching has happened? In the last 2 weeks, the CMs have been very absent, except for the one guy that is bascially just a forum moderator. Also, just because the bug was acknowledged, doesn't mean it will be fixed soon. We'll see if there is any meaningful maintenance tomorrow. My bet is no. The only saving grace would be if 1.0.4 hits tomorrow and that it is awesome. But really, how likely is that to happen?

Oh, btw, Wolfenstein was published by Activision and distributed by Activision Blizzard. I did not know that until I looked it up. This really is getting freaky how similar it is.

I really wish I could muster the balls to exploit this instead of being afraid of being banned. (~$350 of unsold stuff laying around being the main reason I'm afraid.)

And yeah, I've noticed the lack of Blizzard posts / information / comments lately, too.

Also 12 hours, running up and down inferno act 3/4 with 350%Magic find totally invuln and exterminating every elite, ending with 0 usable items (i'm equiped with 10 miliong gold worth items, not 100milions) make ma really really sad and wander... this game have somethink wrong.

Too much focus on random rare items and diversity (lol), so we don't even know what we're looking for. At least with unique items in D2, you knew what you were looking for and you were excited to ID your items even if they rolled poor stats.

tl;dr We need static-stat uniques back that actually drop a lot.

Amen. How many countless hours are needed honestly or what did blizzard think when thye made it like that, or perhaps they didnt think... something isnt right though. 1 shouldnt have to run for days on end to find 1 item that may be worth a mill -2 if anything.

They won't IP ban you. If they IP banned, imagine people using public internet to play Diablo 3 all getting banned because 1 guy decided to do something bad.

If anything happens, they should only ban your account that you exploited on.


Edit: Not like changing your IP or anything is all that hard, though, if you're really worried about her account.

they can ban their programmers for this shit not players. I did this the whole day since early morning, ended up with 0 usable items aswell... this tires me so much. wasnt motivated to farm before, because only shit dropped...now i was proved right that they ****ed up the drops since ias patch

and yea used MF too (300-350).
