In the second screenshot you do not actually see the name of the item listed. You see the overlay and the time. It could be real, but this isn't very convincing.

There is a thread over on blizzhackers where you can swap the buyout and bid location hex values. People were using this to swap the two prices and buyout items for their starting bid price. I'm sure this is just a variation on that.

So I've seen a ton of threads about this and no one can get their story straight. I'm throwing down the gauntlet in this thread. If anyone can do this exploit, go the US gold AH and run a search for this item:



It's set at minimum bid of 100g and a buyout of 13 million. I know it's a crappy POS and no one would ever buy it - that's why I picked it.
