If you re-summon a bat/hydra (only tested it on wiz/DH) you gain hp back from the "+XXXX Life after each kill." You also gain more based on how many pets are summoned IE I gain x2 with ferrets out and x6 because of 6 hydras.

This is repost of a repost of a repost. And you're technically wrong as well. You don't get the HP when you summon new ones, you get it when the old ones die.

even if it's a repost i've never heard before this working with all pets
i maybe code some macro for my DH for fast switching to life on kill weap and resummon ferrets
along with equipping monk with life per spirit items when using spirit for defense
hydra = 3x life after kill. 1 for each head. unfortunately does not benefit from int or anything else
