Possibly a new gold farming spot? 240k/hour

As you can see, been a forum member for quite some time, but I only started stalking the forums when diablo was released.

Anyways, I am kinda bored of farming Rakanoth over and over again, and I found another spot.

Act 2 Q9: The Scouring of Caldeum.

All you need to do is run like hell and save all the townspeople. On hell i average 6-7k per run and on Inferno 10-12k per run. All this with 225GF gear.

If you feel lucky you can even kill the mobs around for blue items more gold. But rushing is the best solution.

The downside to inferno is that the villagers die from a single hit, whilst on hell they can take a hit or two, giving you better chances for gold.

no im playing a witch doctor.

My stats are like 22k hp, 110 res, 16k dps. In inferno it's more or less a time waster, on hell it's a lot easier.

I assume you can use skills that make you move fast and avoid damage with every class, like Tempest rush (monks), Spirit Walk (WD)

I noticed even with 30% gold find and 25 yard pickup radius i made like 400k in nightmare in a few hours leveling my character

It's APPARENTLY a bug. We don't know it.

What this guys talking about is every time you save a civilian they drop money next to the sewer. I used this a couple times in nightmare mode back when still leveling just to get a little extra cash to make myself a better ruby. It works, but if the civies die (like in inferno, they will most of the time) you get nothing.
