[Wizard] Spam Hydra and gain life

Heya,

found out that every time you resummon your hydra you get the bonus from "life after kill"-modifier on your gear. Currently my ~700 life after kill in a weapon is giving me ~2,5k health every time I resummon, so I'd assume that the bonus is four times the life after kill you have.

There are some really cheap (~100k?) weapons with pretty good damage and up to 1500 life after kill bonuses, I'd suggest getting one of those :P.

Spamming hydra doesn't work with +X experience from kills.

Could someone test this on other classes which have minions?

Funny how you didn't even read the title of the thread. It reads "Spam Hydra and gain life" Implying that using the Hydra skill will somehow gain you life - It has nothing to do with killing.

... would this work with xp per kill also? My wiz is level 15 so I can't test this.

Tested and it works. Basically the game is treating a recast of the Hydra as a kill on the players behalf. So the first cast doesn't count. However once summoned each additional cast will heal you for the amount.

are you slow?

the OP is saying when you summon the wizards hydra repetadly, the game counts you as "killing" the old hydra.

as you can spam this spell, you can life regen much faster than intended.
