Start a game on Act I, Sword of the Stranger

Waypoint to The Royal Crypts
Break all the pots all the way up to the skeleton-summoning room.
Leave game
Resume game
Repeat

On Inferno, with +168% gold find, this is getting me approximately 10k a run. A run takes anywhere from a 1m 45s to 2m once you get the hang of it. You run into a few skeletons (three to four a run, maybe more if they pop out of chests) so dont get your damage too low (mines a little over 6k), and about a rare a run if you've got a little Magic Find thrown in there with it. Also a reasonable amount of Pages/Tomes.

This also works in all difficulties.

Just a few basic skeletons, they are really easy, i have 6k dps with all this gold find gear on it and 9400 health. And I didnt even look for my main stat on gear. Although I am using my main weapon which is 822 dps, without it, it takes too long to kill them.

Yes the lower difficulty you go, the less gold you get.

I can confirm this works. Theres also an achievement for killing these, I think its actually working as intended.

There are good runs and bad runs, just got 11k and 2 blues this last one I did.

with azmodan you can get around 320k/hour in hell (not killing him, farming the area before him), so this is not bad if you're undergeared/lazy and don't want to put in effort to kill stuff
