Good amount of Rare monsters/Treasure Goblin/Seekers

So, using the same method as the Resplendent Chest Farming.

Take the quest: The Black Soulstone from the very beginning.
Take the waypoint to "Desolate Sands".
Run to the very bottom of the map until you receive a checkpoint.
Once you get the checkpoint, leave the game.
Click Resume Game.
now, go down, and you'll hit a twisting path. There is a decent chance to get rare monsters/treasure goblin/seekers there. Follow the path until you get to the next waypoint, as treasure goblins/seekers can be down there as well.


(Looks like they nerfed the chest farming already)
You have a decent chance of getting some Rare monsters, and/or Treasure goblin/seekers.
Using this, I was able to loot about 5 gold items in a few minutes on nightmare, with no MF, and a ton of gold.
(Run down the path, if rares/ treasure goblin/seekers aren't there, reset it)

I too noticed this. I got about 3 elite packs and 2 goblins, before I ever got that damn spiral to appear.

Except you run down instead of up.

There is also a chance for a purple-lettered monster to spawn (so far I've encountered 2 different purples)
NOTE: A purple-lettered and a treasure guy can spawn in the same game!
(about 1/10 is the rate I'm getting with the purple-lettered monster, 1/5 for the blue/treasure guys)

Looks like you can, +rep, had goblin there a fair few times and with a good chunk of MF its giving me consistent yellows.

You can.
It's semi-quicker to get the checkpoint if you want to farm rares and treasure guys.
It's quicker to go through AP WP if you just want to get treasure guys

Tested it, using the ancient path WP is a brilliant idea, +rep. It takes me 15 seconds to join a game, tele to Ancient Path, check if a goblin is there, tele back to town, and leave the game. If a goblin is there, takes me about 35 seconds to do the above, but with killing/looting included.

dont forget he can spawn further up... So check it all, currently im wizzing down the winding path and then getting to the WP, checking everything, just making a mad dash with vault and SS

Any idea how the loot works on treasure goblins depending on act and location? Does a goblin from later acts have better loot drop chance?
