Extremely quick rare/magic pack farming Act I-8 – works 100%

Hey guys,

I found a nice farming method that I wanted to share. I hear there's a lot of these being discovered right now so I'm sure Blizz is going to be looking into a bunch. I haven't seen this posted anywhere so get in while you can!

Start “Trailing the Coven” in Act I. Make your way to Leoric’s Manor Courtyard, you’ll hit a checkpoint. Within this static area before entering the manor you’ll ALWAYS find a rare/magic pack of cultists, sometimes right where you spawn. There will also be 1-2 shrines in random locations too (+magic find is what you’re after).

- Kill the pack and grab loot
- Town Portal
- Leave Game
- Resume Game
- Repeat

I was able to do a run every ~45 seconds on Nightmare. This can be done on all difficulties. If you’re already past this quest in-game you can start back on Act 1-8 and run up here to get back in this situation.

Verified also this works in groups, just have your friends join your game each time.

You just need to start from the first quest (Trailing the Coven) and run there.

Can't replicate, may be something already linked with your checkpoint and rare drop.

can u say how much u have in percent? and is it atleast one yellow at that percent?

Tried doing this on inferno , got buttfakkud
Put on normal gear and 2 legendaries so far.

More to add, break the gate and go back out into the Leorics hunting grounds, sometimes there is a rare goat man.

I have +78% magic find bonus and got +25% from a fountain so that makes 103% in the stat window (don't know where it really maxes out).
The mobs are there, rares and blues but all I get is a single blue item every time. Done this for 20 minutes now and didn't get a single yellow one.
