How I got Mooege to work

This might seem not to make sense to the pro's but this is how I got it to work. So many people are having problems I'd figure I'd post this to try and see if it helps.

OK, here is how I got it working! If you have previous versions of beta on your computer, get rid of them first. Follow steps EXACTLY.

1. Download clean Diablo III Beta
2. Download pre-compiled Madcow MadCow2.24.2012.rar
3. Extract to SEPERATE directory i.e. c:\games\MadCow2.24.2012
4. Open Madcow.exe and click "Find Diablo3" and point it to right directory.
5. Click Copy MPQ's (will take a while)
5. Up top you should see tabs that say "Updates/Server Control/Remote Server/etc" Go to "Help" tab.
6. Click Download MPQ's and check all boxes. This will take some time, 1.5 GB, When finished, close Madcow.
7. Go to Diablo III Beta game directory and click "Diablo II Beta Launcher" NOT DiabloIII.exe. It will update the game, wait till until FULL update, it will go to 100%, 150% but not be done. You can check if it is done if you go to "Info/Connection" and it stops with 0.00kb. MAKE SURE, OR YOUR FILES WILL BE CORRUPTED!
8. Down load Patch 14 Files at: https://rapidshare.com/#!download|20...ckup.rar|19162
9. Put both exe's in the root Diablo III BETA folder, and the battle.net.dll in the DIablo III Beta\Bnet Folder (overwrite all)
10. Download Custom Compiled Mooege https://github.com/downloads/Siujade/mooege/Mooege.rar
11. Extract to SEPERATE DIrectory i.e. C:\Games\Mooege
12. Open config.ini in Mooege folder
13. In "settings for bnet server" Change 1st "BindIP = 0.0.0.0" to 127.0.0.1
14. IMPORTANT In "Persistent storage settings" change "MPQRoot =" to "MPQRoot = C:\Games\MadCow2.24.2012\MPQ" (or where ever you installed madcow \MPQ)
15. In "Network address translation settings" Change PublicIP from 0.0.0.0 to 127.0.0.1
16. Save and close.
17. Go to Diablo III Beta folder and CREATE SHORTCUT from Diablo III.exe. Then on the Diablo III.exe Shortcut, get to the menu and go to PROPERTIES.
18. In "Taget" add -launch -auroraaddress 127.0.0.1:1345 after "C:\Games\Diablo_III_Beta\Diablo III.exe". It should look like:
"C:\Games\Diablo_III_Beta\Diablo III.exe" -launch -auroraaddress 127.0.0.1:1345
19.Hit Ok.

20.Go to Mooege folder and double click Mooege.exe (you need to be connected to internet) Should say, "MooNet-Server is listening on 127.0.0.1:1345..." near the end
21. Go to Diablo III Beta folder and click the diablo iii SHORTCUT.
22. Once the game loads use this information:
login: test@
password: 12345678

It's not working for me too. If sb could help me, I'll be grateful. I tried download again update 8896, but it doesn't work. Is it wrong if my MadCow takes 1,36 GB?

Hard to tell.... 'cause i've done that in a different way....

delete all the game content, download this Download - mooege

and follow this instructions...(quick and dirty for windows)

Did you overwrite the original MPQ's in your Diablo Beta folder (or maybe a corrupt download) I believe...you might have to do a clean extract and download of latest update again...

I get "Disconnected from Battle.net server" when trying to login.

Mooege window says "client test@ doesn't match required version 8815, disconnecting. Any ideas? It worked before a month or so ago but now I keep getting this.

You're not on the correct patch version

Oh ok I see, anything I can do? Wait for mooege update or downgrade client?

You can update to the newest version of Diablo, downloaded the prepatched battle net dll (http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/diab...ml#post2219756 (Mooege- The Diablo 3 Emulator - Updated Master Compiles)), and download the most recent Mooege. Everything should work then,

Edit: Nope nothing, still have the same error. It's ok I'll just wait for a compatible Mooege. Thanx for the quick replies. :-)

but when i click the link it says its not what im looking for. I tried going through the rest of the steps with another version of mooege but i cant get D3 to work and this is the only thing that i havent exactly followed...can anyone send me the rar file or provide me with another link to Siujades file?
