The team behind Eldorado started trading almost 10 years ago. Since then we have bought and sold billions in in-game gold and millions of items in RuneScape, Path of Exile, World of Warcraft, Rocket League, CS:GO, and more. As buyers, sellers and gamers, we have seen it all, from honest-to-goodness dealers to scam victims with zero customer support. Harnessing years of experience and love for the market, and with a strong belief that together we can revolutionise in-game trading, we set out to build what Eldorado is today — a secure, easy-to-use marketplace with sterling support that empowers both sides of the trading community.

Blizzcon is officially cancelled. This was something Blizzard has stated they were worried was going to happen but it has officially been confirmed as of today in a recent Blue Post.

“Several weeks ago, I shared an update about our uncertainty around holding BlizzCon this year. Since then, a lot has changed . . . and a lot also hasn’t changed. During this time, we’ve had many discussions about what holding a convention could look like in light of all the health and safety considerations we’d want to make. We’ve also talked about different paths we could take, and how each one could be complicated by fluctuations in national and local health guidelines in the months ahead. Ultimately, after considering our options, we’ve come to the very difficult decision to not have BlizzCon this year.”

They then go on to say the standard “were disappointed” etc. But this is not necessarily the end. Blizzard also mentions they might be able to “channel the BlizzCon spirit and connect with you in some way online.” This won’t be guaranteed but even if it were to happen I personally don’t think it will have any major announcements. The reason for this thought is because they are planning the event for early 2021 now and it might be worth holding on to the big announcements for the in person event rather than a virtual one.

What could this mean as far as announcements? Is anything delayed because of it? Well we know Shadowlands is delayed until Blizzard Q4 already which could mean 2021 and with this delay in mind that is almost guaranteed. Other games such as Diablo 4 , Overwatch 2, and whatever else Blizzard has in store will just have to sit in development for a bit longer. Diablo 4 being delayed to some might be interesting because rival Path of Exile’s 4.0 which is their biggest update yet and has been said to “be so insane that nothing Diablo 4 could have will compete” by Grinding Gear’s owner Chris Wilson is coming out in November.
