• Fantasy: Worlds of Myth and Magic Exhibit


    If you have not already heard, Fantasy: Worlds of Myth and Magic Exhibit has opened today in Seattle, WA at the EMP Art Museum. If you are into art, roleplaying, and fantasy, and are going to be in the Seattle area soon, you would definitely want to stop by and pay a visit to this awesome exhibit.

    The exhibit is full of fantasy in the literature, video game, film, and television genres. The exhibition spans for almost four centuries of fantasy. Some works of art include a 16th century suit of armor, costumes from the 1939 film of Wizard of Oz, as well as costumes and hand-written manuscript pages from J.R.R Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. Some contemporary fantasies will be featured such as Xena: Warrior Princess, Game of Thornes, World of Warcraft, Diablo III, and the Harry Potter Series to name a few.

    Tickets range from $14-$20 depending on age, and can be bought online for $15. Membership options are available ranging from $50-$95 depending on the membership type. You can purchase tickets or memberships on the EMP Museum website, or by paying a visit to the museum.
