You need to insert it into an .mpq archive. MyWarcraftStudio and WinMPQ can do this for you, make sure you get the same folder hierarchy as the original file has. Name the mpq patch-(random letter without the marks) and put it in your WoW/Data folder.

Well, you basically look at the file in the standard common.mpq. For example, the hierarchy for bloodelf female is CHARACTER/BLOODELF/FEMALE/Bloodelf.m2 I believe. It's starts with the folder CHARACTER, then inside that folder is the folder called BLOODELF and so on.

In MyWarCraftStudio, click "Pack"->"Add file to archive..." then select your file so it the adress bar looks like this:
"Whatever.m2" then just add CHARACTER/WHATEVER-RACE/WHATEVER-GENDER in front of that, so it'll say:
    "CHARACTER/WHATEVER-RACE/WHATEVER-GENDER/Whatever.m2"

Now, if only someone could help me with my problem. I PM'd Glitchy, but he refuses to reply to that question it seems.

Still nothing. When I look at it in mywarcraftstuido it looks like this
    CHARACTER/BloodElf/Female/BloodElfFemale.m2
Is that how it should look, it even shows up like that after I imput it (not the teir design like my other patches have)

If you've got a .mpq in your Data folder called "patch-(whatever).mpq" and it contains "CHARACTER\BloodElf\Female\BloodElfFemale.m2" which is the file you've altered, it SHOULD work. From what I can see, there's no problem with your folder hierarchy.

Okay, now I've tried importing the .obj files in 3dsmax 9, 3dsmax 7 and Milkshape. Still a flat piece of junk, seems like the injector needs some maintenance.

I'll wait for this to get better worked on and see if someone else can fix this.
As for your problem, i'v used the model injector and it turns out just fine (albeit character models look rather strange) so it may be your comp.

Could you tell me exacly what you did, step-by-step?

Edit: Nope, tested it on another comp and it's the same.

Edit again: Ooookay, if I do the m2 -> obj convert, then the obj -> m2 won't work, it says the file doesn't exist...

Make sure you select BOTH files

    1. Select the Original M2 you got the model from
    2. Select the modifed OBJ file
    3. Click OBJ to M2

Have the same problem here too.
What I think might help him if you post your current version of the .NET framework and perhaps what kind of Windows and version you use of it.

I have this issue too and I have both the .NET framework and Windows updated but I think Glitchy could use some more input to pinpoint the problem.

Well, I've tried it with both 2.0 .net and 3.5 .net. I've got Windows XP Home Edition, with the latest uppdates and service packs. Are there any other things I should say? I'm using dual-processors.
