Re: Character Model Editing Video Guide

Sadly yes, my website is hosted by Godaddy, and they do not have fast servers for the certain package I am paying for.

So I believe the download speed is capped at 200k/sec.

I uploaded the video to youtube:

Re: Character Model Editing Video Guide

nice but not that smart to have your characters name show as blizzard now knows who you are and can check your Data folders and ban you for model editing

Re: Character Model Editing Video Guide

Ok, I used your good instructions, and somehow managed to pull it off. But as I changed my character from Tauren to NE male, the new NE is way too tall. Now I think I read something about a fix to this, but I'm asking do you know how to do it? And also do you know how I can replace the textures in the original WoW .mpq files since my old tauren characters have now when being NEs grey hair and some fur etc, and it doesn't look nice.. So can you help me out here?

Re: Character Model Editing Video Guide

i tried this guide up and everything was going fine untill i started up irfanview and when i tried to browse to the character file it didnt display the contents but just the folders, they all show up when i go into my computer and look it up w/o a program, do i have to download something else to get this to work? or hopefully just change a setting on irfan or something, other then that its a great guide and is an easy to follow video. thx

Best guide on here, got it first try.

And to the previous poster, when browsing the folders, make sure all file types is selected on the bottom drop down menu.
