Find and obtain equipment textures by name

You only need the wow model viewer.
- 1.- Open the wow model viewer.

- 2.-Click on character, then select any of them.



- 3.-Equip the items. In the filter you can put both the name as the item id:



- 4.- Now file>Export textures:



- 5.- Search the textures of the item and select export:



- 6.- In the folder where is installed wow model viewer must be one named Export , in it there is the texture :

EDIT: You should add that this method doesnt work only for equipment but also for any other texture in WoW. And if you tick the "Path preserved" option WMV exports textures together with treepath so you dont have to write it down/remember it

This guide can be improved in many ways but as far as I can tell it covers something unique and it's a valid effort from a new user to contribute as their first post, so I'll approve it anyhow

You could add screenshots, colors or anything else that may guide other new model editors until they have a grasp of this. Maybe a video?
