Thats a typical GM response. Just don't do anything that gives you an advantage over other players and you won't get banned.

There is no way to be banned by the warden as far as I can see. I was reading something last week, it said the warden doesn't send info about anything on your pc to Blizzard, which means if something gets blocked by the warden, it will just block you from logging in wile that process is on your pc.

Warden can actually do quite a few things.

However, GMs ban most of the time due to players reporting you. Basically don't do stupid things and players won't report you.

Yes, if your stupid. If you are using it to exploit the game in any way (such as free honor kill), then yes it is bannable, especially if someone reports you. If you are just using it for cosmetic changes, then you won't be banned.

That whole "Edit what you want as long as only you can see it" argument doesnt work though really does it.

You could edit skins, models etc so that in Arena you can see through pillars, doors etc - the other team that your up against will not be able to see you, but you will be able to see them. The possibilities are endless really.
It pretty much boils down to
If you use a Edit to Cheat Expect Player Reports.
As for warden detecting Model Edits. If warden is able to detect Model Edits they are not hading out bans for model editing simple for the fact that you have a model edit.

    Remember, this is a game.
It's not that people who use Model Edits are being hunted like Jews in WWII...
I think Warden can detect us... but will only warn GM's of this when we use exploits
Maybe they'll get a warning when they see one's enviroment has changed, like creating easy ways to get somewhere.
But they won't bother when you just swap textures...

The only reason they'll ban you if you scream that you're model editing, is because it's in the EULA.
It says that you will be banned, even if they don't want to ban you they have to.
But if you keep your mouth shut, they don't even bother.

I'm not sure if warden does, but a gm will definitally investigate if you get reported by another player.
