I've been thinking about this for a long time, i've tried to get help but according to the guy i talked to about my problem it was impossible to do. He wasn't exactly the helpful type..

Im not a very good atmodel editing but i know some simple basics, i can change my character to another race, face looks crap though. Im also able to swap gear, that's about all i can do.
Anyways, to the question: Is it possible to let's say change the paladins T6 to priests T6? My char doesn't have T6 but what im meaning is that is it possible to change a plate geared char into a clothie? normal legs into a robe? Is there any way to do this?

If I understood you right, you want another model but the same texture?

Like the having pants displayed as the lower part of a robe but with the pants texture!

I got Crystalforge Leggings and want to change it into shamans T4 which is a kilt.

Hmm, quiet hard to understand, but I post what I think your question is :

First, anyway if your gear is plate, leather or something, you can change it to whatever you want.

And about the question of the robe and the kilt etc :

As long as you change the ,, Itemclass " ( Head, Shoulders, Boots ... ) to the same ,, Itemclass " , it should work.
So your T5 Leggins should be a kilt if you change leggins to leggins. But the best way to find it out is trying. Upload your Itemcache.wdb and I'll have a look at this and will try it out.

Well, as i mentioned in the thread im no pro. Im just able to do the basics.. I just exchange shamans t4 with paladins t5 and when i do that i don't get a kilt.. just regular leggings. If someone could explain how to do regular legs into a robe/kilt that would be great but if someone wanna do it for me im fine with that aswell.

Paladin T5 leggings are normal leggings, not a kilt.
Shaman T4 leggings is a kilt.

Do you get the point?
