    ME's on private servers

I know that the way to install an ME for retail is by downloading the ME and replacing one of your "patch-base"/"patch-enUS"/"patch-enGB" files with it.But,how does this work with private servers?I have a private server called heroes-wow.....and it doesnt have any "patch-base"/"patch-enUS"/"patch-enGB" files or even a cache folder in the "Data" folder. So,what do I do to add an ME to my private server? Thanks.

Private servers use the same client as retail WoW. You must be using an older client like 3.3.5 perhaps?

The private servers use a custom .exe to load patches other than the default ones.

    Wrong.

In 3.3.5a, this is how it works:

Custom content goes in MPQ files, such as patch-4.MPQ, patch-Z.mpq.

A custom WoW binary is required when doing edits to the FrameXML, GlueXML, or Blizzard Addons, because they are digitally signed and verified. It is also required when receiving patches through WoW as well for the same reason.

The content can be installed using a Blizzard Installer, see here: https://github.com/stoneharry/Blizzard-Updater
