Perfect Race Swaps, How Do You Do It?

I looking for a guide/program that i can use to make perfect race swaps/other model edits for 3.3.5

I've looked on the guides thread and I've tried 2-3 of the race swap guides listed on there, but they didn't work. There was always something wrong with the body or hair being white or something. I've also searched through google and youtube but I can't find any type of guide for 3.3.5 either, and the model edit fixes that I've tried are all out of date.
