Spell colors

Hey guys

im new to all this modeling stuff, i got used to hexing i think its called. just the basics tho, like my pally is in full Shaman T6 and has the ashbringer and all that good stuff.

i have a few questions tho.

i did some searching on how to change my flying mount into a nether drake, and found a link that u just download it, the thing is i dont know how to install it, like where to put it.

my second question, and main goal is changing my spell colors.

i saw a pvp movie with a warlock that changed all his fire spells into felfire (green flames)

i really wanted to do this, like make my holy spells into green or somthing like that, but i dont know how.

i have downloaded some programs, some hex program (the name is too long i dont wanna type it) and Mywarcraftstudio i think its called.

so, if u guys could please help me out, toss me some pointers u know, the good stuff.

When you download an edit that someone made and that you found in a forum here you click the link. DL it to your desktop, extract the file and put it into your data folder.

Go into program files
then world of warcraft file
then data folder, put that extracted file into the data folder.

make sure you have the extracted modelchange program in your wow folder and open WOW with that program >.>

i tried that, like ive DL'd two things so far, an edit that makes my griphon into a drake, and an edit that makes my land mount the raven god mount.

all i did for both of them was was DL'd them and saved em to my desktop, then i popped them into my data folder.

the raven god mount one worked, but not the drake one. when i downloaded the raven god one it was called "patch-5" (no quotes) but the drake one was called like "speed2-2" or somthing..

do they have to be named something special to work?

When you download the drake one just rename it to patch-8 or something. Any patch between 2-9 that you don't already have saved might work. I'm not positive on that but you can try it. Just rename it and see if it works out.
