    Model editing, how to?

I've been scouting the forums all day but I cant find anything on how you actually do it.

I was into model changing 1.5 years ago and I used something called wowme to run the client via. Im pretty sure you need something similar but cant find anything. I'm also unsure of where to put the models so I guess what im looking for is some sort of guide.

    Any help is appreciated.

Get a model edit and put it in your Data folder with the name 'patch-x.MPQ', x being a number 3-8. Have a MEF (model edit fix) in your WoW folder and run WoW with it. Follow the directions of the MEF to see your model edit.

    To get model edits: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-editing/

    A MEF: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/bots-p...fix-kynox.html

    Thanks Vitaliciedade.

I used a .mpq file from Human female > undead male

But when i select one of my human female characters now they all get black screens.

    Any idea what to do?

Make sure the model edit works with the version of WoW you're using.

2.X won't work with 3.X and vice versa. Yes, that means a good portion of the edits in the ME forum don't work anymore.

I'd say this has to do with what someone above said, make sure it's the correct version.
