Adding water and cutting out ground?

Okay, So I was wondering if it was possible to add water to only one smaller part of a land, without having to fill up the whole tile

And if there is a way to cut out a piece of land for example to create a hole for a mine or the basement of an inn or something?

    Thanks

    Yes,
for only filling some chunks with water have a look at ADT - WoW.Dev Wiki
for creating holes see http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...ate-holes.html (the values work as binarymask)
