Shoulder swap, colors are wrong?

I wanted to check out T8 on my char on live, so I decided to work on a swap. Figured I'd start with the helm/shoulders first. The models I'm replacing are T2. I made all the changes in the .mpq and loaded up.



As you can see in the image, my colorization is somehow messed up in-game. The left side is the mmo-c preview. The right side is my swap. I will include my .mpq file and hopefully someone can explain to me why it's screwed up.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that it's possibly related to the fact that the newer model has .m2, .skin and .blp formats involved while the T2 I chose to replace is simply blp/m2? Any foresight that someone could provide would be great.

Did you replace both the .m2s and the .blps?

Did they have an equal amount of .blps?

Are there colors present in your old shoulders that are on your new model?

I think either the .blps got messed up when you changed them or they are still doing tweaks to the armor set. Not quite sure which.

Ok, well I moved my patch file over to the PTR and gave it a look and it works there. So something with the PTR client changed so the model is colored correctly. I'm glad to know it wasn't anything I was doing incorrectly.
