Suspended or banned?

Will blizzard suspend or ban you if you change only a small thing in a texture?
What i want is to change is the eye color of BELF's. Its pretty easy and i made it work just fine but wont play with the edited common.mpq before i know its safe.

Well... you should never mixture with your common.mpq
And noone has been banned for model editing (if not for an abusive purpose, cheating in AV etc etc.)

No but seriously there is a second to none chance u even get a warning.
I've talked to GM's about my model editing, they just told me to be more
discrete because people were starting tickets about "how do I do it"

How should i do it if not by exporting/importing into common.mpq?

By creating a custom mpq.

ok will try and find one here, tho i was hoping you could see i was lazy and i cba to search my self and hoped for you to link a guide :P

actually i CANT find a working guide. i made a completely new MPQ but it doesnt work. everything is as it should be in the MPQ but it wont load into the game. modeleditfix or?

Grrrrr found a modeleditfix for 2.3 but then some addons wont work.
Not worth spending more time on just for red eyes i guess. unless someone got a hint.

Dont mind my noobish noobnes. i just had to turn on addons again. but for all i found a working modeleditfix for 2.3
