DBC files

Looking for some help. Im really close to getting what i really want out of this editor but i cant find out how to edit the DBC files. Can anyone give me any help with this? If so +Rep

Use DBCutil to convert from DBC to CSV, edit your CSV with CSVed, then convert back to a DBC with DBCutil.

I know ill be using my step-brothers account on the next PTR.

I cant get DBCutil to open. it just has that black box open up for a second then shut down.

Thats because its a command prompt program. Try dragging the .dbc over the exe see what that does. Or even better, write a .bat like mine

DBCUtil.exe (something.dbc)

I dragged it onto the .exe from both the original file, and Mywarcraftstudio and both of those didnt work. And i dont know what a .bat file is.

yes, a little clarifacation on dbctool would be good.

Ok well in Mywarcraftstudio open the dbc.mpq in your DATA directory then extract the dbc from there, then pull it onto the .exe

I found it out eventually =P
I forogt what it was but i think i forgot to extract it from my warcraft viewer before dragging it on the icon.
Problem is that i cant get it to work.
