70 [Rogue] Perfect Vanish Macro

Hey guys, I can't believe that I haven't seen this macro anywhere. I had an epiphany one night while playing and put the macro together.

I was really tired of being pulled out of my vanishes by priests and warlocks with their DoT's. I loved the Cloak of Shadows and figured out that I could cloak of shadows vanish right before I vanished. So to take the time of clicking out, i just made it my macro. It's been brilliant.

here it is:

/cast Cloak of Shadows
/stopcasting
/cast Vanish
/stopcasting

It is really common sense after all, I'm not familiar with macros and everything so I put the vanish and the Cloak of shadow icons near each other.
This macro surely helps with timing.

using a similar one, too for my rogue, i think most pvp rogue players have macros like that, but true, never really saw it written somewhere except official rogue forums maybe. ^^

Yeah, it is kind of common sense, but at the same time it's one of those things when I talk to a rogue in game it makes them want to smack their heads because they hadn't thought of it before :P

It IS good but you should be able to use Cloak of Shadows when you vanish without the macro, else you are slow(or lazy.. duh )

I'm pretty sure you can CoS while vanished and not remove the vanish? so cast order is irrelevant? might help if a DoT is about to dmg you, otherwise just put vanish and cloak of shadows in a macro together.

Yes, you can cast CoS without breaking stealth, but the point is that you will eliminate the chance of the damage hitting you before you can hit CoS while you're vanished (because this will be much harder when you have multiple DoT's in BGs)

It will also help you never forget to cast the CoS, so it eliminates chance for natural mistake of having them in two separate buttons.

IMO This sucks, I mean how long does it take to press cos before vanish. 0.1 seconds? AND you'll need to use another button on your keyboard, and most rogues already use all easy-accessable keys.

? it takes two keys and combines them into one, why would this be using yet another key?

Plus, it eliminates the room for error which could cause a death. You may not understand because I don't see a rogue tag under your name. (maybe you just haven't added though, so I'll leave room for my own misinterpretation)
