A simple guide of when/where to use curses.
- Curse of Weakness-
- PvP- Use when fighting rogues and warriors that you can't get off of you.
- PvE- some guilds will ask you to put this on bosses to reduce damage.
- Curse of Tongues-
- PvP- Use on casters. Very useful in arenas on healers with no decurser.
- PvE-This can occasionally be used to slow down caster damage in instances.
- Curse of the Elements-
- PvP- This isn't really useful in PvP unless it's on drek/van
- PvE- This is to be used on boss fights when you have plenty of fire/frost mages (90% of mages). In raids, usually there will be a warlock using elements, a warlock using shadow, and maybe a warlock using weakness
- Curse of Shadow-
- PvP- Not really useful
- PvE- This is to be used on boss fights for shadow priests, arcane mages, and other warlocks.
- Curse of Recklessness-
- PvP- Helps the other faction, giving them fear immunity and more AP, not something to be used
- PvE- Rank 1 can be used to stop runners, and break fear to prevent extra pulls
- Only rank 1 should be used
- Curse of Exhaustion-
- PvP- Extremely useful again melee classes and for running away from others
- PvE- useful when kiting mobs
- Curse of Doom-
- PvP- Cannot be used on enemy players /cry
- PvE- Increases overall DPS on long boss fights
- Curse of Agony
- PvP- High damage dot, useful
- PvE- High damage dot, useful
