Go easy on me guys, this is my first guide and I never really had anything the I soley made up on my own to contribute.
So we all now that mages and ret pallys are amazing at grinding and powerleveling SM and such. Well what about hunters?
Before 2.3 patch hit (and still afterwards) I decided that I needed a new toon. But the grind is SOOO boring. Even though its faster, its very tiresome. There is so much more you could be doing!
So then I got this great idea.
Why not just make some complicated macro that did everything for me?!
well not wanting to get a ban I decided that a little human involvement might be alright, technically its not botting I guess.
anyways Im sure you telling me to get on with it in you heads so hear it is
These are your preperation steps.
1. Tame an owl with screech, the AOE debuff is key to the successful implementation.
2. Create or alter your existing shot rotation macro so that the first line reads
"/assist (insert your pets name here)"
3. add any nifty buffs or what gave you. Mana oil will be a great friend.
4. download an automatic mouse or single key press program such as autoclick Free AutoClick Download, AutoClick 1.1 Download
(essentially its on or off, which mouse button to auto click, and time between clicks)
These are your implementation steps.
4. get your lowbie alt(s) to ./follow you (dont worry a majority of any danger your pet will aggro off of you with the aoe debuff)
5. set your pet to aggressive and make sure he is spamming the AOE debuff along with growl. You do NOT want to accidentally pull aggro. This is a key point to making sure that you and your lowbie buddy stays alive if you are say.. in the next room not playing wow. It is also a good idea to use aspect of the viper to maintain good mana and lower slightly lower threat.
6. Set auto click to .1s with the left click and then drag the mouse onto your new pet assist/shot macro
Thats all you gotta do! now you can read a book or do homework or play a differnt game or watch tv. You only need to move yourself to a place near many mobs in an instance (say like Uldaman) that preferably does not have a LOT of casters. I can generally clear all of ulda (cept the final boss) in about 40 minutes which although its not pally/mage time, I'm also playing 360 or cooking dinner or watching tv and mildy moving my char from room to room.
thanks for your time I hope it works out for you.
