Secret Gnomeregan Boss: Endgineer Omegaplugg (lvl 110)

1. Get 5 geared lvl 110 players and go to Gnomeragen
2. Kill the last boss which will make a button spawn on the backside of the 1st pillar on your left.
3. The button says "PUSH ME" and when you click it Thermaplugg will spawn

List of mechanics during the fight

Moar Bombs: Boss starts to summon bombs when the fight starts. They have around 1M Health and hit for 1.7M each.
Electric Lazer Beam: Shoots an AoE in a 40x10 yard in front of the boss. Hits for around 1.7M.
Circle AOE around boss: Does an AOE 30 yards from the boss with the boss at the center. Hits for 1.7M.
Half Circle frontal AOE: Does a half circle AOE (30 yards) in front of boss.
Hellfire Missiles:Shoots around 100 rockets over the course of 10 seconds in a small AOE circle on the ground. Only have half a second to dodge before getting hit.. Hits for around 1.2M.

Strategy: Only confirmed kills are due to a glitch where bombs don't spawn.

The boss drops the toy "Vial of Green Goo" (Vial of Green Goo - Item - World of Warcraft) which will turn you into a Leper Gnome.

I'll update OP when people come up with a strategy that works. It seems like every confirmed kill so far has been due to a glitch where the bombs stop spawning. If we're lucky someone will figure out how to replicate the glitch.

Seems the easy way below was hotfixed

^{Edit: some reports on that this might be hotfixed already, but the below was how we did him 2 hours ago:

If you have access to a monk, or better several, you can use the talent Diffuse Magic to redirect the "static" debuff he applies on a player after 10-15 sec.

This will give the boss the debuff, which then kills him. If the monk isnt the person that gets the debuff, just all run out of his room to reset him and then try again.}

Static debuff is no longer reflected and does no damage to the boss.

As far as I know, the tactics for this Boss work as intended.
There should be 6 buttons in the room (each pillar has a button on the side - not counting the one that engages the Boss) that needs to be pushed once the Boss is engaged. This makes the bombs don't spawn anymore.
So basically, you start the fight, press those 6 buttons (position everyone in part near a button before you engage the Boss and have a rogue/monk/druid w/e class with speed boost press the 6th button) and then die. After a wipe, the next time you engage the Boss, the bombs should not be spawning again

Tried this several times last night, having a druid hit the last button. After we reset the bombs were still spawning.

Tried this with some guild mates tonight. Bombs were still spawning. Probably got fixed.

use a prot tank and take the talents:

aggro all instance and kill only the mobs from the last door and the boss, activate button, engage secret boss, spam avenger shield and heal when needed

Remember that you can release and run back during fight! It's a nice tip for a group that is running with prot pala strat. Paladin is basically immortal and if someone in party happens to die he can run back!
