[How to] Find your Coordinates without Addon

Its simple. Make a new macro and type this in it.


/script px,py=GetPlayerMapPosition("player")
/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(format("( %s ) %i,%i",GetZoneText(),px *100,py *100));

There you go. Everytime you want to see your coordinates just click the icon. It will pop up into your chat channel.

tried at thunderbluff, it just said:
( Thunder Bluff ) 0,0 everytime I clicked it and moved.

why use a macro when you can get a addon telling you your coords? And wrong section should be in UI and macros section... but good find mate

The point of this is to not use a Addon (read the title)
Some people dont like downloading addons and updating them can be a hassle sometimes.
