Easy leveling 44-48 frost mage

I was recently reading a guide onhow to make money off of the dragon whelpling pet that drops from the dragonsin the badlands and i got to thinking about the elites that were over there and i thought Well hey i might as well give it a shot. Som i headed over there, fought my way in and started killing the elites (43-45) and at the current level (44) i was getting anywhere from 1060-1200 xp per kill. So what i am saying is that just kill the elites, They are melee only and frost is ideal because it slows them down and when they get close you just cone of cold frost nova then run and frost bolt, and repeat until dead. The mobs have pretty low health, i was killing them in a matter of around 1-1.5 mins maybe less.

i assume that was non-rested? Because that would mean an average of 40-60k / hour, wich is pretty insane at lvl 44-48 :O. Busy lvling mage up from 28 now..this will sure help the 44-48 part

Great idea, nice share, but one question though, do you maybe have coordinates or exact location, cause I don't really know about which whelpings or elites you're talking about :P and are those whelpings elite or some other elite mobs?

Sorry, i don't have coords atm, WoW being gay.

But i can tell you where they are. Go to Kargath in the badlands and look at your map, on the far right of the area there are 2 mountains go back behind them and there are your dragons. Gl HF

wouldn't AoEing tarnas pirates be faster?

Yes, but i find it easier AoEing 5-6 elites every 8 mins easier and a better money maker. I say every 8 mins because you need Evocation. you can not kill them in groups with just one full set of mana. I had 4.2k at 44 and i used that and evocation and used up all my mana. So, all in all pirates may be better but im used to this. I made 43g in 8 hours of farming.

If you mean Scorched Guardian, well, they aint meleeing, they use often a fire breath around 50%, damn they have much hp and hit hard also. Even with full 4.4k mana I can't beat them, this is a difficult one cuz they hit too hard and they also can use a fire breath around 50% but o well.

yeah. sorry i forgot to talk about the fire breath thing, i didnt know cuz they really never got close enough to me to use it.
