On topic: you can just WALK past Valithria (with an appropriate character level of course).
Just walk in the middle of the room and in a straight line where Valithria lies on the ground while avoiding the 4 mobs which stand around her.
You won't start the encounter and can just use the elevator normally and go on with Sindragosa.

In case anyone didn't know that yet, just saying.

Btw I think whispers of rai'vosh and a speed potion will work with this.

Other slowfall items can be used in place of the whispers but IMHO they are optimal since it is non-consumable and works across accounts.

Good idea, I will give this a try later.

Never thought of something like that because I didn't care for the few minutes saved by doing this.
But it would be really nice if this works actually.
