Farm Motes, Greens and Skyshard. *NO DOWNTIME* Also Skinnable.

Hello OwnedCore,

I was just searching Eternal Blossom for mobs to kill to farm motes and skyshards. Then I found a cow called Mottled Cow in southern part of Eternal Blossom in a Village called Mistfall Village.

I decided to kill it for fun but then noticed it has a instant respawn so I decided to check WoWHead if it can drop a Skyshard and it actually can. 2 People confirmed Skyshards dropping from the cow.

Since the Stone Guardians no longer instant spawn that place is pretty crap now and the trickets on fire during the daily quests in the village is not allways up so I think this is a decent place to farm if you're going for motes/skyshards and green/blue/epic items only.

Edit: The cow is also Skinnable, so a plus for those who are skinners.

Killed 60+ cows, 1 mote and 3 greens, and a ton of Enormous Teeth

Seems there are faster ways to farm motes than this :P

Neither skinnable nor does it drop anything but "Enormous Tooth", killed 30+ cows.... on EU

"Skinnable" says that to me.

PS if you've played MoP its easy to get 30 kills and not getting anything. I've got tons of motes and greens from 50 kills. And 2 people confirmed skyshards dropping so ye they do drop other things then Enormous Tooth.

And i'm also EU.

Guess I'll give it another go in the morning, would love to give +rep for the find though, but unfortunately I'm a newb so I cant do that :/ , definately no competition on the cow this atm.
was up to 100 kills now but I guess just bad luck with drops.

Alright, it's working! Can mods move this to elite so it does not get used? òr can you delete this and post it in elite?

I'm not gonna post it in elites. Why would I do the donators with 1 reputation and 5 post counts a favor and "hide" it from blizzard?

I posted this on the forum to contribute, not so donators can leech my post in elites.

There are many great contributors on the forum with no access to elite anyways, and I don't wanna hide anything from them!

Farmed for about 4-5 hours today with g keyboard macro. I am enjoying this cause i guess currently not many people know about it.

I found 1-skyshard
50+motes
jc patterns
and enough teeth for 5 nursing homes

Farmed for 3 hours, no skyshard, 3 motes and toons of teeth...

motes are really low... or it's the rng cause for 10 minutes i got 15 motes then for 1 hour just one.

but, this is an so easy spot to farm... and i got 1 shard already (1 hour of farming)

Just got a skyshard, so this spot is confirmed to work.

killed 250 cows and this is the loot:

1x Skyshard
4x Greens
27x mote of harmony
7x Huge horn (35g)
250x Enormous Tooth

EDIT: I should also add, this was 1hour farming

~ 2 hours of farming:

- 0 Skyshards
- 3 JC recipes
- 6 greens
- 12 huge Horn
- 36 Motes of Harmony
- 290 Enormous Tooth

Guess I'm just unlucky.
