    Profession Leveling Kits MoP Updated

Hey guys, before somebody points this out! Yes, there are other kits mentioned on the forums here primarily by furiousgeek, these guides will be made for professions not previously mentioned on the forums by him or any other user.

For alchemy, enchanting and inscription updated for MoP please go to

Advertizing your kit, is best done on your realm forums, or in trade chat. I found that doing it on my realm forums producted the best results because you are able to find people on both factions allowying you to expand your business quickly

When selling a kit, place all of the materials in a guild bank tab and give access to the buyer to that one tab. Making it much easier, always make sure they pay you first

Now, lets get to it! First of, leatherworking Approximate price 25-30k

    Code:
Leatherworking is by far the most expensive profession to level in the game, it takes countless hours of farming and killing to gather all of these materials and as such generally sells for around 25k - 30k. I recomend hiring a full time skinner to do the farming for you because while you may lose some proffit you are gaining the time to farm for other such kits!

    Approximate Materials Required for 1-600:Leatherworking
57 Ruined Leather Scraps 130 Coarse Thread 15 Medium Hide 75 Salt - vendor 260 Light Leather 160 Medium Leather 197 Fine Thread 31 Gray Dye - vendor 20 Heavy Hide 195 Heavy Leather 410 Thick Leather 145 Silken Thread - vendor 410 Rugged Leather 35 Black Dye - vendor 92 Rune Thread - vendor 100 Knothide Leather Scraps 307 Knothide Leather 28 Fel Scales 320 Borean Leather 50 Savage Leather Scraps 385 Savage Leather 21 Heavy Savage Leather (105 Savage Leather) 2 Volatile Fire 2 Volatile Air 2 Volatile Water 26 Volatile Earth 40 Exotic Leather 300 Exotic Leather or Prismatic Scale. (Choose the cheaper one. You can also use 150 Exotic Leather and 150 Primal Scale for example) 1 Spirit of Harmony
Engineering - average sell price 12-15k

    Code:
As you can se most of the mats required here come from mining, it takes around 10-15 hours of farming for me to gather most of the mats (botting) I found that on my realm all the required materials cost 6500g and I was able to sell the kit for 13k doubling my money, always check the AH to see if it is profitable to buy the mats and just resell them. Maby people are not looking to spend the time buying and finding good deals.

You can buy [Coal] at Blacksmithing Supply vendors 20 x [Solid Stone] 150 x [Mageweave Cloth] 320 x [Mithril Bar] 20 x [Dense Stone] 420 x [Thorium Bar] 80 x [Rugged Leather] or 10 [Star Ruby] 152 x [Fel Iron Bar] 10 x [Netherweave Cloth] 85 x [Adamantite Bar] 320 x [Cobalt Bar] 240 x [Saronite Bar] 10 x [Titanium Bar] 166 x [Obsidium Bar] 84 x [Elementium Bar] 60 x [Volatile Earth] 4 x [Volatile Water] 8 x [Volatile Fire] 267 x [Ghost Iron Bar] 1 x [Spirit of Harmony]
    Blacksmithing - Average price 20k

    Code:
Same with engineering, this is best paired with mining and can take quite a long time to farm all of the required ghost iron bars. But it is worth it, being one of the best raiding professions you can usually get at least 20k for this kit as long with some gems from farming all of the ore!

    Tailoring - average price 18k

    Code:
Tailoring is one of the most expensive professions out there because of the ammount of frostweave cloth required to level up, an excelent spot to farm frostweave is in the valley to the left of the center island in icecrown.

    Approximate Materials Required for 1-600:Tailoring
260 Linen Cloth 135 Wool Cloth 780 Silk Cloth 396 Mageweave Cloth 780 Runecloth 790 Netherweave Cloth 20 Knothide Leather 20 Infinite Dust 20 Eternal Life or Fire or Shadow 1200 Frostweave Cloth 885 Embersilk Cloth 30 Hpynotic Dust 450 Windwool Cloth Spirit of Harmony
    Jewelcrafting - average price 20-25k

    Code:
Jewelcrafting requires a huge ammount of gems, to get these gems you need to have a jewelcrafter already to prospect the thousands of stacks of ore required to gather all of the gems. This is not a kit recomended for people just starting out in this business, it requires a good ammount of gold to pay a JC to prospect for you if you do not have one already! This is another kit that you may be able to make a profit off of from buying off the AH

    Approximate Materials Required for 1-600:Jewelcrafting
100 Copper Bar 20 Tigerseye or 20 Malachite 120 Bronze Bar = 60 Copper Bar, 60 Tin Bar 60 Shadowgem OR 20 Shadowgem and 20 Small Lustrous Pearl 80 Heavy Stone 30 Moss Agate / 60 Lesser Moonstone for Horde 140 Mithril Bar 80 Solid Stone 25 Citrine 15 Truesilver Bar 5 Aquamarine 50 Thorium Bar 10 Star Ruby 20 Large Opal 7 Azerothian Diamond 3 Blue Sapphire 3 Essence of Undeath 20 Huge Emerald 55 green gems OR 40 and 15 Black Diamond - You can find a list of green gems here. Don't buy all of them from one kind because there might be some recipes which you don't have the reputation for to buy it, so you will have to choose other green gems. Just buy them when you get to that part of the Jewelcrafting guide. 40 Adamantite Powder (200 Adamantite Ore) 10 Primal Earth 10 Adamantite Bar Buy around 70 from any of the following gems: Bloodstone, Chalcedony, Dark Jade, Huge Citrine, Shadow Crystal, Sun Crystal. Make sure to buy at least 5 Bloodstone, because you will need the Bloodstones when you reach 395. 10 Crystallized Earth 46 Eternal Earth OR 23 Eternal Earth and 23 Eternal Shadow 5 Forest Emerald 5 Titanium Bar 5 Dream Shard Buy 45 from any of the following gems: Carnelian, Alicite, Jasper, Zephyrite. I did not include Hessonite and Nightstone in the list because you will use them later on. 16 Hessonite 50 Nightstone Buy 60 from any of the following uncommon gems: Lapis Lazuli, Tiger Opal, Sunstone, Roguestone, Alexandrite, Pandarian Garnet (you should have at least 5 from each) Buy 9 from any of the following rare gems: Wild Jade, Vermilion Onyx, Primordial Ruby, Imperial Amethyst, Sun's Radiance, River's Heart. You will have to buy these from the same color, for example 9 Sun's Radiance

These lists, and other information were aquired from WoW-Professions.com | 1-600 Profession Leveling Guides - MoP! I wanted to share them here in the hopes of showing the community the guides for professions not currently up on the forums!
