When someone opens a dispute against you, you'll have the option to respond to the matter. You will also get the option to 'upgrade' (sort of) the matter to a claim. If you're the first to do so, it will help you with your credibility. Hope this helped!

    Very good, thanks for sharing.

Got scammed on Paypal a couple of times before, It's not a good system for selling virtual goods at all.
    I recommend Skrill (Moneybookers).

As a frequent seller myself, I have experienced this problem a lot of times and I've never won any of these disputes/claims. A few days ago I tried selling my account for the third time and guess what? The buyer never received his account and wants his money back, what a surprise. I was not going to lose this one! After doing some research and reading trough the Paypal user agreement I found something that could help me win this claim!

Now, let's read trough Paypal's policy on buyer protection:

As you can see, buyers do not receive buyer protection if they purchased a digital/intangible good. So how did I win my claim and got to keep my money? It's simple. If a buyer opens a dispute, be sure that you're the first to make it a claim. When they ask you for any comments or additional information make sure you say that the buyer bought a digital/intangible good and that they do not receive buyer protection in this matter according to the Paypal user agreement. This will force Paypal to let you win the claim.

HOWEVER, this is not a 100% guaranteed win method. This won't work if the buyer does a chargeback trough his credit card company (you can still win this but it will take a lot more effort). You also have a chance of still losing if the buyer says the payment was done by someone else than the owner of the paypal account/creditcard.

I hope that I could help out some of you guys that are tired of losing their disputes/claims, good luck!
Or you could just take accurate screenshots of your conversation and business dealings...I mean having no proof of your claim is your fault.

Funny, I JUST had a seller sell me his account, provide me false information, and when I disputed the claim on paypal he responded and said I had changed my mind and that he disagreed with me. With paypal thats enough for them to drop the claim for digital. I DO NOT feel bad for you sellers at all. /playstinyviolin

    Hey guys!
What if I ask the buyer to write this into the transaction note: Paying for virtual service / goods (World of Warcraft).
Otherwise I just don't accept his payment.
He can make the dispute, but it's in the note...
I'am not sure, it's working if he make the cancel as "Unauthorized transaction".

    Doesn't matter to paypal.

Most of the scammers are now opening FRAUD and you always lose.

You will never win a dispute as a seller if the buyer isn't completely dumb. A dispute will always be won by the buyer if he/she claims unauthorized access and makes even a half convincing story up.
