Free Name Change

Hi all, this is my first contribution, I searched the forum beforehand & I didn't find anything similar to this.

Are you bored of your old name & want to change it for fee without paying anything for it, well I'll tell you how to do it:

1- Delete the character you want its name to be changed
2- Make a new character with the same name of the char you deleted
3- Open a ticket saying you deleted your character by accident while you wanted to delete another char
4- When your character is restored its name will be flagged & you are prompted to chose a new name
5- Chose your new name & log into the game
6- Profit ^^

Hope you found this useful, It's the 2nd time I do this. I just tried it yesterday but the new name had my old name + numbers in it before the name was changed completely, I'll provide a screenshot today it was just temporary ^^

did this back in wotlk with a friend. i deleted my char, then we created a char with the same name on the account of my friend. we even levled this character up to lvl 10. as i wrote a ticket, we both got a 24h suspension+warning, the lvl 80 restored and the lvl 10 char just deleted :O
