HoL Charm farming

Hey guys, hopefully this guide will give you insight into some insane charm farming. The mobs we are going to be farming are:

Slag - NPC - World of Warcraft - This is in normal Halls of Lightning, just after the first room (skippable as any stealth class)

These things respawn extremely fast, have 15.8k HP and give charms (aswell as 1 rep to the Explorers' League)

I have been farming these as a ranged character and this my positioning



From the picture above the outlined red parts are where we are going to be pulling and killing the Slags, before we do this pull the whole room and clear it, this way you can kill them instantly on spawn. You will be killing 13 Slags every 20/30 seconds, leave the one Slag behind the middle furnace (it seemed to slow spawning down, however this could be coincidence needs to be confirmed)

After one hour of farming i had made 560~ Charms, this might not be as good as other methods but it is instanced, great for pvp servers and im sure it would be quite simple to set up a bot / keyboard macro to auto kill them, hope this helps!

Was just in here about half an hour a go to get some quests done and it appears to have been hotfixed.

This is not fixed, however you can't pick them up if you are on the Grizzly Trophy quest.
