First off - I did a quick search, and couldn't find anything relating to this. If there is an existing thread, please let me know and/or delete this!
In this guide, I'm going to give you some fairly common tips to exploit your servers auction houses. Most servers have a dominant faction, where there's generally under-inflation of common goods due to the mass amount of players.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5000g to start
- General knowledge of your servers auction house prices
- A character on both alliance & horde
- A friend (or second account) willing to help you transfer your items and/or gold back and forth via the neutral auction house.
As you can see between the two factions, there's about a ~5500 gold difference. Simply buy a deck on whichever faction is cheaper, get your friend to send it over to the opposite faction for you, sell it, and transfer back the gold.
Even with the 15% auction house cut, you're taking in around 4250 gold. For ONE sale.
Again, there's a 4700 gold difference between the two factions. That's a 4000 gold profit off of ONE sale.
Tips
- Make sure your friend is trustworthy
- Be sure that it's an item that's in high demand
- Avoid armor. Stick to weapons & trinkets (Generally DMC)
- STAY AWAY from 353 (ZA/ZG) epics. These are NOT worth your time
- Servers vary. Factions vary. I can't guarantee there's opportunities to make gold like this on your server
- Research the market beforehand so you don't accidentally buy an item because it's currently over-inflated on the other faction
- If done right, you can easily make thousands of gold within minutes.

On a final note, try to avoid buying items like in the above screenshot. Make sure the faction you plan on selling the item on has a lot of it currently on the auction house. Otherwise, unless you know the general price for that item, it could just be over-inflation. Best of luck![COLOR="Silver"]
