Lesser darkmoon fair prize; Massive gold.

So darkmoon faire hit today, I have been determined to get Lesser Block to shield. So I saved up 3 bank tabs full of dense grinding stones.

Dense grinding stone is by far the cheapest way to get darkmoon fair tickets. 8 stones = 20 tickets 1 stone = 4 dense stone dense stone = less than 1g a stack on my server

So about 1-2g for 20 tickets. Each prize that we are targeting is 12 tickets.

I had 5760 dense grinding stones, which turned in to 14400 tickets. This gave me 1200 lesser prize boxes for a total cost around 1.5-2k. Now the results of these boxes.

Over 1000 greens, DEing the bulk plan to list a handful on AH that had right level/stats

All the prices listed are estimates of what I think I'll eventually get for these items. Some things will of course be spread out over a few months as I have way too many and I have no intentions of dropping the price. Lesser Block, Star Belt, Dusky boots, and a few others will be extremely quick sales.



2k max investment for 30k+ over time with a good 15k of that coming in first week is an amazing way to get large amounts of gold. 1 pattern can pay for it all. It took about 3 hours to turn in all of the dense grinding stones and tickets, it'll take another hour to DE everything and probably 15 minutes to list everything. Total time sink you're looking at around 5 hours depending on how efficient you are.

Ok so some of my prices were a bit off(low ones mainly) I think on average I was about as much over as I was under( lesser block sold for 9k already)

Got Star belt pattern out of 10 prices. ^^
But sadly there are no collectors on my realm so I would have luck if it sold for 100g...

Just giving out some help
Talk to the npc that you turn dense grinding stone too, and use this macro

/script SelectGossipAvailableQuest(1)

and for the tickets talk to the npc and use this macro
Change * into what you want, 4 is lesser darkmoon prize, 5 is greater darkmoon prize

Obviously the prices can vary alot and to get stuff sold needs some work and patiance.

Yes same method but it was sloppy and they put items in the wrong spots. Star belt under wrong box, best items omitted. He just copy / pasted and didn't use real data. This was more toward the arguments I've seen about what actually drops from them now a days.
