• He phases (untrackable with Hunter's Mark / Track Hidden) in and out AND IN COMBAT so make sure to stack your haste.
• He uses an ability called "Nerfbat" which afflicts all nearby enemies for 3-7k Damage (Approx 11k+ when taming)
• Ghostcrawler doesn't keep the Nerfbat spell once he is tamed.
• He can't be frozen with ice trap!
• His respawn timer is approx 10-12 Hours.

• A frost trap is adviseable.

Helpful Addons for hunting down rare pets:
_NPCScan - automatically targets and alerts when one of the mobs it has been set to find comes into range.
_NPCScan.Overlay or Rare Spawn Overlay - provide an overlay for the zone map, showing where rare mobs are known to wander.
SilverDragon - targets and alerts. Includes a database of known rares.

FYI one reason I think people aren't commenting is they have to register with the site which isn't a big deal but I am nearly completely burnt out on registering for websites.
