Get Mantle of the Fire Festival on your low lvl alts!

Hey guys! Got another exploit for ya! The Mid-Summer Fire Festival is comming in a month, and with it comes these sexy shoulders! Blizzard DID NOT intend for low level characters to have these shoulders!



How would you like your level 19 twink Mage to look like this (aside from being a gnome)


How about a level ONE bank alt who looks like this:


Smexy shoulders eh? Well here is how to get them on your really low level alts.

EASIEST WAY (need a friend)

1.) Pickup the quest Wild Fires in the Eastern Kingdoms on the alt you want to give the shoulders to.

2.) Ask a friend who is doing the quest to invite you..make sure to tell him you will have to run to all these places so you're sorry it's going to take so long.

3.) Die. C'mon...it's not that hard to do on a lvl 1.

4.) Meet your friend at your first chosen campsite. Tell you friend to click the bonfire and BANG, you get credit....EVEN DEAD!

HARDER WAY (for friendless loozerz like the people who troll my posts)

1.) Pickup the quest Wild Fires in the Eastern Kingdoms on the alt you want to give the shoulders to.

2.) Cry

3.) Die. C'mon...it's not that hard to do on a lvl 1.

4.) Run to first chosen campsite. Once you are there, find yourself the closest Graveyard and go to it. Then, sign off and wait about 5 seconds before logging back on. Once you sign back on, spirit rez. Then, run to the campsite. If you die again just keep rezzing until you get there.

5.) Click bonfire to get credit.

6.) Repeat steps 2-4

Once you are done with all the campsites, you simply return to the questgiver and get your shoulders! Then bask in your personal glory when, for a full year after, people constantly ask you how the heck you got them.

I disagree. Why don't you hop on a level 1, do this quest without GY exploiting and actually finish it.
THEN, 14 hours later when you actually do...notice that you are no longer level 1.

OR, follow my guide and get the end result this post intends.

Well, that's the exploit. They never put a level requirement on it because the zones themselves where the bonfires lay are practically unreachable for someone so low lvl. The zones are lvl 41-60

I'm going to have to agree on this not being an Exploit. If Blizzard didn't want it to happen, it'd be harder than this. But because I like this guide (It's very informative) I'm going to move it to the Guides section, instead of simply deleting it like I normally would.

Thanks. I thought long and hard about rather or not this belongs in exploits or guides as I was writing it. I eventually decided that it goes in exploits because:

-The zones where this quest takes you are level 41-60. Blizzard didn't NEED to put a lvl requirement on the quest because of this.

-The exploit in "The Easiest Way" is that there is a glitch which allows you to get credit for a party member clicking the bonfire while you are dead. You aren't supposed to get quest credit for ANYTHING while dead.

-The exploit in "The Harder Way" is that you are using the graveyard rez exploit. Blizzard nerfed GY rezzing a long time ago so that players can only rez at the GY they were placed at. EVEN if they went to another one, they would still end up at the origional GY when they came back to life. Logging off and back on again fixes that.

Thanks for only moving it and not deleting it. It was a tough choice to make for me as to where to put it. I really appreciate your understanding :-D
