Anyone got a way to revert floating combat text (over target) to pre-7.0?

I can't stand the new damage numbers over the target as, for me, they're too small and don't show crits as obviously (and as satisfyingly) as before. Does anyone know how I can either revert to the old large style of FCT or increase the scale of the current one? I've tried addons and AdvancedInterfaceOptions but they either don't have the numbers over the target or they don't offer anything of consequence.

To be honest, I'm shocked how hard it is to find a solution to this. I thought I'd have a lot allies on this, but it seems not!

This still drives me absolutely mental and no one seems to have solved it. I often cannot differentiate between hits and crits (mainly from ranged). Anyone know a solution of any kind?

Closest I can see is modifying this one to do what you want: GinkoText - Combat - World of Warcraft Addons - Curse

Edit: Ok so I did some digging when I got home, and apparently you can only set the font and it's weight, but you can't do a specific "crit font size" adjustment. You can only do all font sizes. So it's all increases or use a floating combat text on your screen. At least that's what I have found, maybe someone else knows of something, but seeing as it's been this long, you could either try in a curse forum or something like that (wowhead maybe) and see if someone gives you a more accurate/better answer ;/ sorry.
