The current addon you're looking for is >WeakAuras< (correct me if im wrong)
I have been using a simulare addon before i quit playing for a while and the name of that addon was Power Auras. This WeakAura addon was ment to be a lighter version of Power Auras and have also been "replaced" due the lack of updates on Power Auras.
It's even easyer to use in my POV. Try it out, and >here< is a video that will show you how to custumize it or some >examples<!

I can't open the video on my mobile phone but I beleve you are looking for an addon called "LoseControl"
Just install it and it will display CCs on your target, focus and even arena frames and party frames!

Just looked at the video, and it is not an addon after all :P
It is just video editing, but anyways an actual addon which does that (displays CC) is this LoseControl - PvP - World of Warcraft Addons - Curse
