    A very useful target macro/trying to find a mob

    First of all, I have NOT created this macro, or atleast it wasn't my "invention", so I do NOT take credits for this, I thought this was well known, but I couldn't find it in any post, so I thought I could just share this with the ones that have never seen it before.

    I've been using this macro for as long as I can remember in WotLK for mobs like Time-Lost.

    /tar "YOURMOB"
    /stopmacro [noexists]
    /w YOURCHARACTERSNAME >%t<
    /script PlaySoundFile("Sound\\Creature\\Illidan\\BLACK_Illidan_04.wav")
    /stopmacro [noexists]

    What this macro does;
    If you spam this macro and a mob that you have on the list appears on the screen, you will target that mob automatically (/tar "MOBNAME"), and you will then whisper yourself the name of the targetet mob (/w "YOURCHARSNAME" %t).

    For an example;
    You autotarget Time lost proto drake

    Chatlog:
    [YOURCHARNAME]: >Time Lost Proto Drake<
    To [YOURCHARNAME]: >Time Lost Proto Drake<.

    It will also play up the sound file where Illidan "yells" "YOU ARE NOT PREPARED". (only when you target something by pressing it though, or already having a target when you press on the macro)

    Ofcourse you can add more /tar and more mobs in the list without any problem, maybe if you want the rare mob achivements, you just put the name of all the rare mobs in that specific area in a /tar list.

    Yeah, I know there's similiar addons, but I've always been fascinated by macros and intelligent macros for custom gameplay. I don't think it's possible to make an infinite loop using only wow scripting.

    Thank you so much for this! I had to register only for this

    I just need to say that it didn't play sound with .wav extension, but with .ogg it worked!
